‘Nerazzurri’ which literally translates to black and blue in Italian is often used as a common nickname for Inter Milan, one of Europe's most cherished football clubs. Breaking away from the Milan cricket club in 1908, on the eve of its formation, the club’s founder Giorgio Muggiani said "This splendid night sky will give the colors to our emblem: black and blue, against the golden background of the stars. It will be called Internazionale, because we are brothers of the world”.
Preserving its original colour palette of blue, black and gold, our interpretation is an ode to the 1997 Inter jersey. We elevate the design with a curious ‘dorito’ collar, slim black and blue stripes and and ribbed cuffs – encapsulating 90’s retro at its finest.
